Summary

An exciting week watching the BonDAO go live and the community exploring its current features and the potential that it brings moving into the future.

Some exciting community contributions this week with custom wallpapers being produced. Highlighting that there are many ways to get involved in supporting the protocol. Don’t hesitate to reach out in the community channel with ideas and suggestions, we are all in this together.

SpartanDAO (BonDAO) — One week on

The BonDAO went live approximately one week ago, the reception has been nothing but outstanding.

The community wasted no time in having their voice heard, jumping in and proposing for an allocation of SPARTA for the Bond+Mint contract. This was quickly voted in excess of the current required 50% of votes and successfully allocated the funds to the Bond+Mint contract.

It is fantastic to see what the future holds in store for direct community management.

“The BonDAO allows the community to decide which tokens can be added to the curated list of assets eligible for the Bond+Mint distribution. They can also propose to allocate $SPARTA to the Bond+Mint contract in increments of 2.5 million SPARTA (up to a possible 100 million total distribution amount).”

Community Contributions

Bram Vanhaeren reached out to the community to see if he could contribute to the SpartanProtocol and offered to produce some wallpapers for phone and desktops.

I think it’s safe to say everyone is blown away and will be sporting new wallpapers. It is also a fantastic example of how anyone can reach out and provide value to the community and project in their own ways, there's some more exciting work to be dropped over the coming weeks.
